Vocal legends Bobby KIMBALL (former lead singer of Toto) and Jimi JAMISON team up for forthcoming album due out in October

"Hold the Line", "White Sister", "English Eyes", "Goodbye Elenore", "Rosanna", "Is This Love", "Burning Heart", "The Search Is Over", "High on You", "I Can't Hold Back"... These songs are true musical evergreens and are still played on radio stations all over the world. Each band has sold sold millions of records, respectively and have created a legendary melodic rock sound. The soaring vocals that kept these melodies in so many fan's minds come from two amazing singers: Bobby Kimball (Toto) and Jimi Jamison. For the first time in their career, Bobby and Jimi have joined forces together for a "duets" album, which will see the light of day on Frontiers Records on October 14th in Europe and October 18th in North America.

"We always talked of doing something like this, musically we like the same stuff and we've been in the same kind of bands and when the opportunity arose we jumped on it" said Jimi Jamison. "I've always wanted to do a CD with Jimi because he is one of my best friends, we work well together and we have fun together" added Bobby Kimball.

The album features Kimball and Jamison's signature vocal styles in a familiar musical environment created for them by such esteemed songwriters as Richard Page (Mr. Mister), Jim Peterik, Randy Goodrum (Steve Perry, Toto), John Waite, Erik Martensson (W.E.T.) and Robert Sall (Work of Art), among others, and directed by the expert hands of German producer Mat Sinner (Primal Fear, Sinner, Kiske Somerville). While not exactly a "supergroup", the Kimball-Jamison alliance is not just a one-off studio project, as the main motivation behind this album is an ongoing collaboration between the two singers who have been singing live together with the "Legends of Rock" and the "Voices of Classic Rock", both ensembles featuring singers and musicians from very popular classic rock groups.

"Kimball Jamison" is a labour of love & friendship and is set to become a true classic among melodic rock fans.

World Welterweight Championship - "Eye of the Tiger"

Showtime and CBS were on their games helping market and promote the event.

Top Rank was in its usual top form, too, including putting on a solid undercard and creating a spectacular in-arena experience for those who were there. The production quality, lighting and music made for one of the best atmospheres for a big fight I have experienced. In fact, it's my opinion that the ring walks -- Pacquiao to his usual "Eye of the Tiger," with lead singer Jimi Jamison singing alongside him, and Mosley being led out by LL Cool J rapping his classic "Mama Said Knock You Out" -- were the two best back-to-back ringwalks I have ever been ringside for, and it's not close.

So everyone did their job to make it the best night it could be. Everyone, that is, except Shane Mosley.

Jimi Jamison will accompany Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, through the tunnel and on the walkway to the Ring for the World Welterweight Championship at the MGM Grand Arena, MGM Hotel and Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Championship Bout will be on May 7, 2011. As Jimi walks with Manny, he will be singing "Eye of the Tiger".

Manny Pacquiao is a Filipino professional boxer and Congressman. He is an eight-division world champion, the first boxer in history to win eight world championships, the first to win in eight weight classes. Pacquiao is the number one, pound for pound boxer on the planet, reigning number one Welterweight / WBC Junior Middleweight Champion, and champion in eight weight divisions. This Event will be televised and can be seen on Showtime Pay For View. Check your local programming for more information.

Jimi was also invited to be at the Weigh-In where Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley will be weighed in for the Championship Fight.

Hi Everyone, The Jimi Jamison Concert Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Memphis, Tn, was incredible! The concert was wonderful, the auction was great and it was truly a beautiful evening! This being our first year, we were successful in that we paid our way! This apparently is quite good because it takes as long as three years to be able to pay expenses to put something of this magnitude, on. We so look forward to ... The Jimi Jamison Second Annual Concert Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! We are working on gathering auction items and contacting sponsors, for next February, so... if any of you have any items to donate or would like to be a sponsor, please let me know....My information is on the contact page.
